Government pledges full support for Brahmin welfare and orders immediate release of funds

Hyderabad: Telangana Brahmin Welfare Parishad Chairman Basavaraju Srinivas appealed to Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to release pending funds to the parishad on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Accompanied by State IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the parishad chairman met with Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and sought the immediate release of financial grants.

Responding positively, the Deputy Chief Minister directed concerned officials to immediately release pending funds of Rs 6 crore alongside Rs 25 crore for which administrative sanction had already been granted.

Basavaraju Srinivas said these funds would facilitate extensive welfare programmes through the parishad, focusing on the upliftment, education, employment, and financial self reliance of poor and middle class Brahmin families across the state.
